When we think of the western communities in Palm Beach County we often overlook Royal Palm Beach. The Village of Royal Palm Beach is located just north of Wellington and West of West Palm Beach. Although it is considered a quiet place year round, don’t let that fool you as Royal Palm has its share of entertainment for all ages.
There are currently 20 public parks within Royal Palm that allow its residents to enjoy the outdoors. Some of these parks extend beyond the usual baseball fields, basketball courts, and soccer fields that most parks have. Commons Park which is centrally located off Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, for example, gives you an array of outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, frisbee golf, dog park, and a driving range to improve your golf game. In the summer, you might want to make your way over to Seminole Palms Park to keep cool at Calypso Bay Waterpark.
As much as Royal Palm might have a small town feel it contains a plethora of shopping in and around it. Major retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Costco are well within a 5-10 minute drive from any part of Royal Palm. If food & drinks are more your thing, feel free to try the latest craft beer at Royal Palm Brewing Company along with their delicious version of the Cuban Sandwich (my favorite).
One of the biggest benefits of Royal Palm is its affordable housing market, with the vast options of condos, townhomes, or single-family homes, Royal Palm provides it all! If New Construction is what you like, look no further than Bella Sera by Lennar Homes currently underway to providing smart homes to Royal Palm Residents. So no matter what you might have thought, Royal Palm will give you the peace and comfort of a small town with the entertainment and shopping of city living.
